Empire Mag Issue has New Harry Pic

Posted on 7. 3. 08 by Reggie || 0 comments

As we all prepare for the release of Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince promotion for the big event has already started.  Empire Magazine has a sneak peek of it's August issue, which you can see here. It features a blood-stained Harry.

Dark times lie ahead for everybody's favourite bespectacled boy wizard as he enters his penultimate year at Hogwarts. Having dealt with a tragic loss, a repeatedly resurrected nemesis and the awkward onset of puberty, Harry Potter's six[th] big-screen outing finds him entering into a new and fateful stage of his life. We talk to cast and crew about making magic, floating corpses and approaching the saga's end.

The next pic is a magazine page. Enjoy.

Rupert Grint scaled for the drama “Cherrybomb”?

Posted on 7. 3. 08 by Reggie || 0 comments

The fansite RG.us divulged that the actor Rupert Grint is working in a new project; the movie Cherrybomb, an adolescent drama of Belfast, in Northern Ireland, about two friends whose competition for a girl has tragic consequences.

The movie, executed by the producer Michael Casey, is being directed by Lisa Barros D’Sa and Glenn Leyburn, and has Daragh Carville as scriptwriter. Casey also produced the movie My Boy Jack - starred by Radcliffe - for the English television last year.

According to the fansite, Rupert is already participating of the filming for some time, and we still does not know when the filming is going to end. Its release is predicted for the next year, but without any right date.

“Cherrybomb” is the name given to the red balls molded like fireworks which have high explosive power because it contains gunpowder in its interior.

We ask you to consider this information as a rumor until we obtain more details about the movie and the actors present in the cast.

Teaser trailer of HBP possibly coming!

Posted on 7. 1. 08 by Reggie || 0 comments

The lucky Tim Vincent, of the magazine Sky, had the opportunity of visiting the studio Leavesden some months ago. Now he published a brief note in the publication of July of the magazine telling his conversation with Emma Watson and Rupert Grint.

I visited the set of the sixth Harry Potter film, Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, and was reminded just how nice and bright the cast are, especially Emma Watson, aka Hermione. The actress, who recently turned 18, was revising for her A-levels between takes and told me that she wants to go to Cambridge University after taking gap year. Her co-star Ruprt Grint, who plays Ron, then revealed that he’s just purchased an ice-cream van which he’s started using to drive to and from work.

Although it not seems so interesting, we need to keep to a small detail; the Warner had obstructed the press that had visited the place of spreading prior like this one up to the launching of the teaser trailer.

In other words, the publication of this small note perhaps indicates that very soon we will have information about the teaser, and it must be launched in July!

Rowling and Radcliffe in the list of 100 Celebrities of Forbes

Posted on 6. 12. 08 by Reggie || 0 comments

Our dear author appeared again in one more list created by the magazine Forbes. Yesterday was time of Rowling being quoted in the 9th place of the annual list of The Celebrity 100, being behind Oprah Winfrey, Tiger Woods, Angelina Jolie, David Beckham, Johnny Depp, Jay-Z and the band The Police.

It was wizardry that transformed J.K. Rowling from a destitute single mother on welfare into a best-selling billionaire. Her adventures of teenage magician Harry Potter and his classmates at Hogwarts became a children’s literary sensation in 1998 with the U.S. publication of Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone.

Besides Jo, the actor Daniel Radcliffe was also listed in the 64th position.

Last summer the British-born boy wizard, 18, signed a jaw-dropping contract worth an estimated $50 million to continue his leading role in the last two installments of the Harry Potter series. (The final story, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hollows, has since split into two movies, meaning even more cash for him.)

Check the whole list clicking here.

Occurred last night, the 29th Rookie Awards, which awards the news of the year and the new actors. And among the award-winners there is an episode of the series Extras, shown last year by the paid channel HBO, which disposes of the participation of Daniel Radcliffe (Harry Potter).
According to the News Wire, the episode won the prize of ‘Best Comedy’, besides a special award of the jury. Check a video of Daniel acting in the episode.

Read the story of the Marauders written by JK Rowling!

Posted on 6. 12. 08 by Reggie || 2 comments

After long years of waiting, insistence and hundreds of fanfics being written to provide the need for knowledge that the fans has been asking for, this Wednesday certainly will be legendary to a very big piece of the Harry Potter readers.
As we announced some weeks ago, the author JK Rowling wrote a history of 800 words, about James Potter and Sirius Black, which goes on about three years before Harry’s birth.

We have the enormous pleasure to announce that the site of the bookstore Waterstone’s spread the text this morning and Potterish is bringing for you a piece of the story.

“The one who had been driving had long black hair; his insolent good looks reminded Fisher unpleasantly of his daughter’s guitar-playing, layabout boyfriend. The second boy also had black hair, though his was short and stuck up in all directions; he wore glasses and a broad grin. Both were dressed in T-shirts emblazoned with a large golden bird; the emblem, no doubt, of some deafening, tuneless rock band.”

The first is of Harry looking at some type of chest, in better high resolution. The second resolution is the same of the previous and the photo shows Harry in the corridors of Hogwarts with a sad appearance.
